Mashlab is a baseball and softball training facility at 126 Holmes Rd. in Liberty Hill with a second location in North Leander, combining over 12,000 sq. ft. of climate-controlled indoor space with a 10,000 sq. ft. outdoor turf field. It runs more than 80 classes a month spanning tee-ball through high school hitting, plus a Friday Night Lights program in which players face live pitching from former college and pro arms at regulation distance, and lists a Kid Pitch summer baseball and athletic training class. No membership is required, though online sign-up is needed before any class or cage booking.

The small monthly membership is an amazing value, with free cage rentals and lessons included. On top of that, the Friday Night Hit Night is one of the best training opportunities around — 90 minutes of live pitching across five different cages. My son gets more live at-bats in one session than he did in an entire season of facility practices with his select team. Mashlab is not just a facility — it’s a place where players truly get better. We have attended the Monday group hitting hour and the Friday night Tournament hitting hour and a half. both times the coaches have been very welcoming, epically to the kids. while batting the kids rotate between 3-4 different stations where the coaches provide positive and constructive feedback to the batter as they perform. I was very impressed!
