Martin Luther King Jr Family Outreach Center
Private
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Family Outreach Center is a nonprofit community and social-service center in East Central Spokane, tracing its roots to a 1970 church summer camp for economically disadvantaged youth. Today it provides culturally responsive youth-development and family services, including early childhood education (ECEAP), counseling and a food bank. It is a community center serving children and families rather than a single enrolled summer camp; current daily summer-camp hours are unconfirmed.

COMPLETELY NEGLECTFUL!!!!! So many children get hurt from other children and no one watches them . A poor baby was put at RISK because of the neglect of the people working here . DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE .
Nice people great food good cook tolerant acceptance you matter here.🥰
Good supportive place
Excellent neighborhood and community resource. I could not have managed my foster daughter for 2.5 yrs without their support. The sense of "family", commitment to children and their adults, creativity, and love rampant in this Center are exemplary. Wonderful summer programs, before/after school care, and preschool. You don't see children left to fend for themselves here; adults are actively engaged in providing unique and thoughtful, active and artistic experiences.
