Very well organized. Lots of volunteers that help pass out donated foods to those in need. Serves the community well with family oriented programs.

I'm black and my fiance and I she is Caucasianwent in there to get food cause ours ran low. I felt so uncomfortable I I know she did as well . They were very predjudice like white girl what are you doing in here the people that gave the food out was very judgmental and was rude. They give out great stuff just can't be white I guess it's only for the hood made us feel out of place like they don't like interracial couples .God is love and love is God . Some black people can be racist too . We live in West Springfield there are no pantries we are forced to travel for help this was very disappointing people should not feel uncomfortable just to get help and alot of people who go don't really need it or don't register cause they go every week but there income you can tell has changed.

MLK does not have a lot of bells and whistles but they make up for it in community involvement. I attended MLK when I was a young child for several years. Now that I have a child it's nice to be back and see that the atmosphere has not changed.
