She loves the personal attention and the step by step approach to guiding new technique and attention to detail. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace. They use a curriculum that leads students through pastels, sketching, watercolor, and oil painting. They accept kids as young as 6 through adult. Highly recommend!

Yvette was an awesome instructor who really got to know you and figured out how to create a learning experience that was fun and engaging. When things got tough and frustrating, she was there to encourage and me a different approach/viewpoint to the art piece. Even though I’m a Computer Science major now, and I’ll probably never draw or paint anything (by hand at least) ever again, I still look back and appreciate my time here at Maroger.
