Our Kindergartener enjoyed the talk about the turtle hospital that day and came home with a turtle of our own bandaged up for her to watch over and take care of. Plus, we love seeing the large birds. Less than $30, two kids and an adult. They have a microscope and a little science center where the kids can look at skeletons snakes, different types of feathers and Bones

The interactions and renovations add a lot more into a very hands on experience. This truly fosters the curiosity and excitement of the younger ones. My daughter mentioned how she wants to do programs and homeschool classes here.
★★★★Ari EliefjaWhen visiting the Ponce de Leon lighthouse with grandkids, this rehab & release sanctuary proved to be a more exciting attraction, right next door. It features a touch and feed stingray pool, a nice sea horse and turtle exhibit, interesting aquariums, a fun educational classroom, a a stunning "raptor row" with a peregrine falcon, great horned owl, and other birds of prey. The outside statutes of giant shells definitely deserve a Kodak moment with the kids. Admission for 2 adults, two seniors, and three children was only $45. Well worth it for 90 minutes.
