Powered by GoogleNew management shows no forgiveness and act as though people shouldn't make mistakes and learn from them. Im sure they done many themselves. No one is perfect. Plus if they cared for the youth, why keep one from going to chapel when they live there or punishing those who live on camp from letting their friends come see them just cause of a mistake that cause no harm to another person or jail time or fees. As a great wise person ( that didnt come from that camp) said. Only God can judge me.
This place is showing it's age, but they are doing a good job of updating the grounds at the same time
Been here many times for family camp (and once with a church) and have always enjoyed it. The food can range from delicious pizza to hard mystery meat, but they always have good salads and drinks. All activities are pretty great. Sometimes the lake inflatables are a little boring, but they always seem to be different every time I go. I love how there's a pool in addition to the lake.
Went here on a Dad and Me retreat with my kiddos! It was amazing! The cabins are basic and keep focus on the experience but still give some creature comforts. They have heat and a/c, running water, private showers, and comfortable beds with room for 5 or 6 in a room. We got to have fun with our kids doing fun stuff like fishing, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, roller skating, climbing wall, archery-tag (foam padded arrows),zip lines, archery range, skeet shooting, and lots of wonderful land to hike on and break away from the pack. Lots of locations for camp fires, s'mores, and last but not least a biblical message to further our faith and relationship with our God and our kids! They have a great mess hall, cook good food, and even have a coffee bar if you can't brave the out doors without your favorite macchiato. If you need to get anything from civilization North Platte is only 20 min west on I-80. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and want to go back again.
I go to this camp every summer! The staff is so kind and encouraging and they care for you. It is a great place to visit to feel closer to God. the worship in the mornings and evenings is amazing. The bible studies are outstanding. The food is excellent. I will continue to go and I will recommend that others go too!
