Its 'Camp Dynamite' summer camp is aimed at low-income, at-risk kids, introducing them to tennis and other physical activity alongside enrichment. Programs operate from its Youth Center and Tennis Complex; the nonprofit focuses on academic achievement and positive life skills.

Powered by GoogleThis program is so amazing the after-school program has helped my son matured the staff really do care about your kids education the cost to enroll your kids in the after-school program is so cheap and Summer Camp they offer tutoring also I am so happy I found this after school program there is no other programs out there as cheap and work harder then this after school program
Two stars because the exterior of the building was well maintained. I just attempted to drop off two boxes of school supplies at 2:05 in the afternoon, the Friday before the children go back to school. Was asked how much I had and when I responded was asked to come back Monday as the person on the intercom was the only person onsite and was on a telecom. I took the supplies to a Clay County donation site.
Please beware!! If there are good reviews. They are probably from other staff members. The staff here are extremely mean to your children. They will yell and curse at them. If your child attends summer camp please make sure they are efficient swimmers. As the staff does not pay attention to your children because they are always on their phones. This is truly a safety hazard. The after school program is a complete joke. The program director is a very boorish and peculiar lady. She does not look into the best interests of the children. She will take up for the staff even when they are wrong. This program sweeps a lot of incidents under the rug. There are many incidents with children being bullied by other children as well as staff members. If you truly love your children. Do not send them here. I can not stress this enough, this program is an extremely toxic environment.
My students have been coming here for many years. It is a wonderful organization whose staff truly care about the youth, their families & making sure all students are successful. Covid brought a lot of complications (similar hardships as our schools- like teacher shortages, learning taking a hit during the pandemic, etc.) and lots of rapid growth of the programs happened at the same time. But the staff who stuck it out sacrificed a lot and have worked to make sure all staff coming in care about the kids and are here for the right reasons. The program is more than just somewhere for your kids to go after school- they are a family and my children love coming here year after year!!
This is our third year attending the Malavai Washington camp, and it truly feels like family. The care, dedication, and intentionality the staff brings to each camper’s journey is extraordinary. They don’t just teach tennis—they create a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where kids are challenged, supported, and celebrated. What stands out most is how the team takes time to meet each child where they are, then thoughtfully helps them level up—not just in skills, but in confidence, teamwork, and leadership. I’ve seen this not only in my own child, but in so many others who have absolutely flourished through the experience. The balance they strike between structure, discipline, fun, and camaraderie is exceptional. It’s clear this camp is built with heart, purpose, and a deep commitment to helping kids grow. We are so grateful for the incredible partnership and look forward to many more summers ahead!
