I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this place and the instructor. I signed my autistic daughter up for private lessons because I was looking for a supportive and consistent environment for her. Although there was an annual registration fee, I joined in mid-April and was still required to pay the full fee. While I did not argue about that and agreed to pay it, I specifically explained to the instructor that because there was such little time left before the session ended, I wanted to schedule as many lessons as possible during that period. She agreed, so I went ahead and paid. Unfortunately, after that, my daughter only received two 30-minute lessons before the cancellations started. There was little to no communication for over a week, and the inconsistency was especially difficult for a child with autism who benefits from routine and predictability. Instead of professionalism, accountability, or understanding, I later received messages trying to justify the situation and the charges. The entire experience felt disorganized, dismissive, and frustrating. Parents of special needs children already navigate enough challenges and should not have to deal with poor communication and repeated cancellations on top of that. I would not recommend this place to families looking for reliability, transparency, and respectful communication.

MCGC has been a blessing! The gym is such a high quality and well-maintained facility, and the coaches are the right combination of supportive and encouraging to build confidence, strength, and skill in these gymnasts. The coaches, gymnasts, and parents create such a fun and family environment for kids and parents alike!! We love this place, and are so happy to have found Madison County Gymnastics Center!

MCGC is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! When we walked in for the first time almost 4 years ago, I knew it was the right place to be. The coaches are so encouraging and uplifting, safety comes first, and owner has a heart of gold. It’s a true community and not just a gym! My 9 year old has built self confidence, learned to be an encouraging teammate, and so much more. It’s a great environment and would be there every day if she could! We have made lifelong friends and my daughter and her teammates have thrived in the gymnastics world! This is her third year on the competition team and we are so thankful to be there!

My daughter has been taking gymnastics at this gym for 3 years. She started later in life than most kids and the coaches have been encouraging and supportive since day one . Her self confidence has grown into a beautiful thing to behold and she has had the chance to learn some of the real lessons of good sportsmanship: understanding there’s always room for personal improvement, the importance of cheering your teammates on even if you didn’t do so well, and how good it feels to reach the goals you worked hard for.

We love this gym! I took my daughter to check out a couple of the other local gymnastics centers, and noticed they were way understaffed and the coaches were very rude and harsh to the young girls. It was not the environment I wanted my 5 year old in. Madison County has the best environment and coaches! They are really funny and have patients with the girls. There are enough coaches to promote safety, and my daughter absolutely loves it! She’s learning so much already! They also have won several meets, and it excites me for when she’s old enough to compete! I recommend to try this gym. It’s really amazing!!!
