Madill Performing Arts Center in Duluth is a recreational and competitive performing-arts studio for ages 3 and up, offering all forms of dance plus tumbling, acting, and singing. As a parent of a child with autism and EBD, I’ll admit I had my worries. It can be hard for Mya to stay still or stay in the room, and I always worried about her distracting others. But from day one, Madill welcomed her with open arms and zero judgment. 🤗🌈 Year after year, they have worked with her at her pace, showing a level of patience and dedication that I cherish more than words can say. Seeing her progress over the years has been a dream come true! 📈⭐ I also love how the older students mentor the little ones—it creates such a beautiful, supportive community. 👯♀️💕 The magic didn't stop there! Even though my youngest, Journeè, wasn't quite at the age requirement yet, they opened their hearts again and let us join a Mommy & Me class. Getting to watch Journeè do "big girl things" right alongside her sister and me was a memory I will hold onto forever! 👩👧 daughters 👣✨ Teresa and Jocelyn, thank you from the bottom of my heart. My child danced here for many years and it was great! This pandemic is hard for business owners as well. I know these students were given so many opportunities to dance virtually and they need a sense of normalcy during these hard times. The dedication the teachers have to these children is amazing. I love being able to know that the teachers show up every week to have fun and learn.
