I’ve had a fantastic experience with the LA Fire youth soccer club. The coaching staff is incredibly dedicated and skilled at helping young players improve. The club emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth, which has made a big difference in my child’s development both on and off the field. Highly recommend it to any parent looking to get their child involved in soccer!

As expected, no contact from LA Fire Soccer. My child just finished the Spring Season with LA Fire Soccer. Most of the parents were complaining about how terrible the program is. I decided to check the reviews to see if it was just our team or if other people found LA Fire Soccer to be terrible. Please note that one 5-star review by Eric Greese is false because he is an employee of LA Fire Soccer. So, take all good reviews with a grain of salt as they may be employees or paid reviewers. During our season, we heard nobody saying anything good about LA Fire Soccer. This program is absolutely horrible and expensive for what you get. I was particularly struck by the review from "AS" which mirrors my feelings exactly. While LA Fire Soccer says "Eric works tirelessly.." that does not mean he is good at what he does. Like AS, I think removing Eric would be in the club's best interest. I highly advise finding another club to play with if you want your children to LEARN soccer. Despite my telling the "professional" coach that the kids did not know how to throw the ball in, know position, know how to kick the ball, play goalie, know what to do for corner or goal kicks, the "professional" coach instead had the kids continuously pass the ball in a box. His practice exercises consisted of 1.5 hours of moving a box (that he made from cones) from one side of the field to the other and having the kids pass. During games, the kids did not know positions, the goalies did not know they could use their hands, the throw-ins were done jumping, it was "swarm ball" because none of the kids knew positions. My child hated this season. To make it even worse, Eric assigned our team with a small number of girls, and we NEVER had enough children to field a team. One game we had 3 kids. We were supposed to have referees (I'm assuming that was built into the cost of the program) we only had 2 referees---both of whom ignored flagrant handballs, illegal throw ins, and at one point, let the kids start play after a goal from the goalie box. He did not even bother to blow his whistle to TEACH the kids that after a goal, the ball is played from the center circle. If LA Fire Soccer offered AS their money back, I wonder if they will offer my money back. We definitely will NEVER play LA Fire Soccer again. For what my child got from this season (poor practices, not enough kids to play in the games, no referees, no education, and NO fun), I feel like LA Fire Soccer owes me money for wasting our time. But, if they will refund what I paid for the program, I'd be thrilled. I'm curious if they will. I'll update this post with an answer. If you get nothing out of this long review, please look for another club to play with instead of LA Fire Soccer if you want your child to learn and have fun.

My kids have played here for over 10 years. It is a well run organization with the top coaches and the most competitive teams in the city. The club wins multiple state championships every year and has a great player development pathway with opportunities to play at the highest levels in the country.

Great club! My kid has learned so much, and we even enjoy going to the practices ans games! The club is very well-organized and information regarding game schedules, weather cancellations, and any other pertinent info is always communicated in a timely, helpful fashion. And the coaches are just...amazing. Such high-quality, dedicated people! It's been a great experience for both my son and myself!
