I hold a special place in my heart for look up lodge. Not only my father went here as a kid but I’ve had a chance to go three times so far. Two of the three times my father came along as a chaperone for us at Ebeneezer Baptist Church in west Union South Carolina. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all you guys at look up lodge for everything you do. I’ve had a few friends who gave their life to Christ at look up lodge. I highly recommend you visit look up lodge whether you go with your youth group or with friends. I promise you will have no regrets.

School forces our kids to go here every year on a "team building" trip. They are forced to be outside in the blistering sun and always come home sick and dehydrated, sometimes injured, covered in bug bites and with heat exhaustion. Some young adults are not made for being in the sun all day and nearly pass out and get dizzy from being stuck outside all day in 90 plus degree temperatures. We pay way more than the trip is worth and I'm thrilled it is my daughters last year at this horrible place..the camp nightmare is what I think of it and wish they gave our kids better options for the mandatory trip than this..I am over this place and excited she will not be coming here again. Some cabins have no air and they get zero breaks from the heat, In the 90 degree weather. Some showers are like prison showers with nothing but a curtain separating you from others. Just not a good place. Look out lodge is what it should be called. This place needs to be shut down. They don't respond to reviews that are bad because they know its truth! We definitely should not have to pay for our kids being tortured.

Wonderful experience for all. Counselor to kid ratio is amazing. Gospel teaching is solid and relatable for age group. Activities lodging and food are all fantastic.

The lodge is in the beautiful blue ridge escarpment that runs across northern SC. The facilities are spread out and there are large hills to walk but the paths are mostly paved and well-lit. Beautiful lake is the centerpiece of the large property. Parking is a challenge. Dining room is smallish with long tables but food is delicious and served quickly and efficiently by kind and helpful staff. A good facility for group meetings and outdoor pursuits. I look forward to returning.

I am SO thankful my children (& now teenagers) have experienced Look Up Lodge for the past six summers (Kids Camp & TEEN Camp)! I LOVE going as a chaperone because it's "BIG" kid fun too! Greg Boone's messages of truth challenge us all EVERY year to GROW in this Christian walk. The staffers ARE THE BEST! I have found that our students are GREATLY impacted by the staffers & their testimonies. My daughter still keeps contact with her favorite staffer from THREE years ago! The kids LOVE the food! Even a SALAD BAR that is LOADED! The games, the outdoor activites & the camp itself are all AMAZING!! There is a new theme every year which builds anticipation from all the campers! WE ARE PUMPED to see what SUMMER 2019 has in store!
