Live Arts
Private
Live Arts is a nonprofit community theater in downtown Charlottesville, founded in 1990, that runs summer camps for children and teens in its purpose-built Water Street arts center. Campers work across acting, playwriting and improvisation and are introduced to the backstage side of theater, with sessions divided by age band and theme. Camps are open-enrollment and sit alongside the company's year-round mainstage productions and education program.

Nice place for theatre lovers! Their building is nice with three levels and two different theatres. They have a concession stand for intermissions and it's generally a good time if you're into performing arts.
Wonderful play! Exciting and funny and heartwarming 💕 💖
Saw Young Frankenstein, the musical, at Live Arts. Wow: the talent of those actors, extremely well done choreography and direction. All the voices were amazing, some were Broadway ready. Was my first time: what a treasure Charlottesville has! Also :comfortable seats, and the volunteers are fun and gracious hosts.
Beautiful place for live local theater that is largely volunteer-driven!
