My son went there for the first time this summer and well, let me tell you how happy I was when he told me how he was having a great time and I definitely saw some personal growth! I went there when I was his age and he’s definitely going back there next summer! He was so sad about leaving his friends. Thank you for making my son’s time there the most memorable!
Wow! My daughter had so much fun this 2024 summer camp week! Every week at camp theirs a Theme, my daughter participated this week, and it was "Outer Space", "How cool is that!" The camper use their own imagination to make their styrofoam ball into how they view the planet earth. Theirs always lots of neat items available to them, there's tempura paints, lots of colors to chose from to add color to there earth, and theirs pipe cleaners to use as a handle to carry your earth planet. Theirs flowers to chose from, to add flair to your projects, colored foam stick-on squares to add that special highlight, and jeweled glitters pieces to glue on, to add their own unique, one of a kind style. My daughters earth looks so beautiful, what fun. They have such neat projects for the campers to do at camp, it lets them just be themselves, and helps bring out all of the campers, own unique fine qualities, to help them express themselves through hands on projects. It's worth the drive for the scenic drive and the temperature was in the low 70's... A lot of green to see as well... As for the actual place it's a good place for people with disabilities and there's actual people who care for others there... The sad thing this time was that they were short staffed and me and my wife had to pick up her son 3 days early...so we both had to make special arrangements and work schedule adjustments to go pick up her son...
Our church group has rented this facility for the past two years. The staff has been extremely friendly and accommodating. The food has been higher quality than other facilities that we have used in the past. The meeting hall is spacious and there are great outdoor facilities for kids recreation. The only drawback are the rustic cabins, which are tough for families with small children and elderly folks. But it is camping, so you have to expect some of that. The campsite is beautiful and well maintained. I would highly recommend this facility to other groups who are looking to rent it for a weekend retreat.
