Powered by GoogleLife Mission School was an amazing experience for my daughter. The staff genuinely cared about her and curated a curriculum that encouraged her to love learning and discovery of new things. I am so grateful for our experiences with this school.
Life Mission School has been the best thing that happened for my autistic son (11 years old) and toddler. They receive the education they need, but get to experience learning in the fresh mountain air. While their learning includes traditional math, English literature, reading, science, and art, it goes beyond the traditional academics to include life skills and the opportunity to apply these concepts immediately before their eyes and with their hands. They explore nature with not just their minds, but all 5 senses: soil, plants, bugs, animals, animal scat and tracks, rocks, trees, air and weather like rain, sunshine, and wind. They have the space to run around and play, hike, and swing from/climb trees. My kids are given the opportunity to learn life skills such as problem solving and working collaboratively: building a green house, gathering wood, and building shelters. They create and build with models and projects: volcanos, mountains, ecosystems and habitat models, home and tectonic plates models, and more. I have a degree in Elementary education and special education. The type of learning these kids get are what I was taught to be best practice. Especially for neurodivergent children like my own.
Life Mission School has been so helpful for my boys. They thrive with this school and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to truly give their children the best education.
