Powered by GoogleCoach Thomas Aranda is the definition of professionalism, skill, and accountability. He holds athletes to a standard that most kids—and honestly many parents—have not fully developed yet, and that is exactly what sets him apart. Coach Aranda teaches the game the right way. He focuses not only on basketball IQ and skill development, but also on discipline, effort, preparation, and personal responsibility. He does not cut corners, and he does not lower expectations—he raises athletes to meet them. If you are looking for a coach who truly prepares players for the next level both on and off the court, Coach Thomas Aranda is someone I highly recommend. His impact goes far beyond basketball.
We couldn’t be happier with the impact Coach Thomas has had on our son’s game. His ball-handling skills have improved tremendously, but even more impressive is the confidence he’s gained on the court. Coach Thomas is extremely talented, knowledgeable, and knows exactly how to challenge players while keeping sessions competitive and fun. He focuses on fundamentals, attention to detail, and game-realistic drills that truly translate during games. Our son looks forward to every workout, and it shows in his performance. We highly recommend him to any player looking to elevate their ball-handling and overall basketball IQ
We've been bringing our 15-year-old to Coach Thomas at Legendary Basketball Training for a year now, and the transformation has been incredible! The improvement in both self-confidence and skills has exceeded our expectations. What truly sets Coach Thomas apart is his genuine passion for what he does. You can see it in every session. He truly cares about each kid and invests in their growth, not just as athletes but as individuals. Coach Thomas isn't afraid to have the tough conversations that kids need to hear. He challenges them, pushes them beyond their comfort zones, and holds them accountable. Sometimes the best coaches in life have to tell you hard things or that you need to do more to become more and that's exactly what makes him so effective. If you're ready and open for honest feedback and serious about leveling up your kid's skills, Legendary Basketball Training with Coach Thomas is an outstanding place to start. We couldn't be more grateful for the positive impact he's had on our son! Highly recommend! 🙌
I am very disheartened after my son attended a trial class tonight. For starters Thomas came across as kind over text. He was very communicative and I had high hopes. I explained to him that my son had zero experience and that I wanted to make sure that this was a beginners class because I didn’t want to be overwhelmed. He assured me that he had kids that were just learning the basics as well as kids that maybe had a little more experience. Upon entering the gym he briefly introduced himself. When I saw the first drill they were instructed to do I knew we were doomed. They were doing skills that were far more advanced than anticipated. Dribbling inbetween the legs etc. I felt so incredibly bad for my son that I had set him up for failure. On top of that the coach said to my son that he was “too slow” when he was doing one of the drills and he didn’t even come and talk to us after to see how We were feeling about everything: You know what.. yeah my son has ZERO EXPERIENCE which I warned you about prior to us wasting Our time coming to the gym. I had such high hopes for this program but my son left feeling like he wasn’t good enough. The coach gave off a wholesome vibe but was nothing but cold and stand offish. If your kid is already somewhat skilled in the game this may possibly be an okay fit. But if you want someone who is HONEST about what they can offer, patient, and has time to teach basic skills to your child go elsewhere.
Coach Thomas help to get my son caught up after being out of basketball for three years due to severs disease. He worked hard and was able to catch up with his peers, even scoring a starting spot on his high school basketball team. Highly recommend it. It’s so important to practice the fundamentals. It’s going to be what puts you on top of everybody else!!
