Legacy Park Multipurpose Center at 15400 Peggy Rd is the City of Alachua's central 40,000 sq ft recreation and culture complex and one of its summer camp sites, most recently starting camp on June 9. The complex adds an outdoor performance stage and amphitheater, soccer, baseball and football fields, and basketball and volleyball courts. Breakthrough Basketball separately runs youth basketball camps in the building for boys and girls in grades 3-8, grouping players by grade and gender for skill work and capping each session at 60 players.

What at first seems like a basketball court fully can be transformed into a stage where hundreds of people can attend. We just had an incredible event there last week and it was generous of them to use their facility and it was transformed into a beautiful place for guests to attend. The stage they have here is a wonderful asset. There’s a lot of zigzagging along the road to make it here; and it is located somewhat in the middle of nowhere. Nonetheless it’s a lovely place, very nice clean bathrooms, and incredibly spacious room.
