Lakeview Recreation Center, a Peoria Park District facility at 1013 W. Lake Ave., hosts a summer day camp for ages 5 to 12 from late May to early August. Campers do arts and crafts, gaga ball, archery, nature activities, sports and field trips, with a new theme each week and trained counselors; the Peoria Park District's camps are accredited by the American Camp Association. The renovated building has two gymnasiums with four basketball courts, pickleball and volleyball courts, a dance studio and four classrooms, and also runs school's-out camp and open gyms.

★LeeNaya BrewerRented the space in May for an August party, canceled one week after booking(still in May) and instead of getting my whole refund back I was told they had to keep my cleaning deposit which was also supposed to be refundable. I wasn’t even in the space yet so there was nothing to clean why not give the whole amount back I paid? Don’t book here it’s not worth the hassle and there are too many rules.
