Lake Placid Soccer Centre has run Adirondack youth soccer camps since 1976 and offers two formats: a day camp at the Lake Placid Show Grounds and overnight/sleepaway camps on the campus of St. Lawrence University in Canton, which has 14 grass fields, two indoor facilities and an athletic complex. The overnight camp is co-ed for ages 8-18 and includes all meals from Sunday dinner through Saturday breakfast, plus lectures, video sessions and a camp T-shirt, with special sessions for goalkeepers, advanced players and whole school or club teams. A Flex option lets families choose their own arrival and departure days between Sunday and Friday with a three-night minimum. Campers travel from 40 states and provinces and 20 countries; the program teaches the Coerver coaching method.
