The Lake Park YMCA is one of two sites of the Valdosta-Lowndes County Family YMCA and hosts the Y's summer day camp for children ages 5-12. The all-day program runs about 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with sports mini-clinics, swimming and a water slide on site plus field trips to bowling and fun zones; lunch and snacks are provided.

The establishment is medium size so its not so intimidating for new gym goers but large enough to maintain 6ft at all times. Prices are reasonable even for a family package. Only reason I give equipment a 9/10 is because I personally could use a bigger bench for benchpress. They are just a wee bit narrow but easy to adapt to. Overall outstanding buisness maintained and supported by stellar faculty.
