The Lake Erie Islands Nature & Wildlife Center is a nonprofit nature center at Put-in-Bay that runs a themed Nature Camp each June for children of all ages, grouped by age. Younger campers (an Intro to Nature Camp for 4-year-olds and My First Nature Camp for ages 5-6) do nature stories, crafts and hands-on activities, while older campers investigate island ecology, dip for invertebrates and enjoy a day of kayaking plus an overnight camping trip on the Bass Islands. The center also hosts Wild Tuesdays events through the summer.

★★★★Gina ShivesInteresting wildlife displays. The girls working at the center were eager to share their knowledge about the wildlife and the island (Put-in-Bay). The center is not very big so our visit didn't last long. There is a short walking path through a wooded area and a small pond out back.
