First, I want to say that I am very sorry to be writing this review, but it is a cry from the heart. I have been working out at this sports club for a year. Unfortunately, monthly one-on-one sessions with a trainer are too expensive for me, and I simply cannot afford them. Furthermore—as I am currently studying to become a personal trainer myself—it is crucial for me to perform exercises with proper form and control, both to avoid future injuries to myself and to ensure I do not injure my own future clients. I worked out alone and recorded all my training sessions on my phone. I never—and I repeat: NEVER—recorded other people; I had absolutely no need to do so. Initially, signs appeared on the walls asking people to avoid stepping into the camera frame. But today, a woman—who identified herself as the director (and whom I had never once seen at the facility during my entire year there)—approached me and informed me that filming is strictly prohibited at their club. I was unable to find any written rules or policies to that effect anywhere within the sports club. I feel upset and deceived, as I—just like everyone else—paid for my membership. I immediately went and cancelled my membership on the spot. Fortunately, I found another gym; I called them to inquire about filming in their facility, and they assured me that it is absolutely not a problem. I am very glad about that. Moreover, the YMCA facility itself is somewhat dirty—there are used paper towels lying in the corners, and the equipment is old and outdated. They lack large weight plates suitable for deadlifts; I had already been planning to leave anyway, but this incident simply hastened my departure. I am deeply disappointed.

Went there to watch my granddaughter's volleyball game. Place was clean. Staff was helpful. Courts were nice. Overall experience was wonderful.

Was there for the first time yesterday with my black son to play basketball. The white kids in there were shouting the N word. The staff did nothing even after telling them they still did nothing. We won’t be back. The YMCA is suppose to be about inclusion and using that word should never be acceptable!

The facility is large and spacious. It is maintained well and clean. The exercise equipment and free weights area is very large. They offer many classes with friendly and knowledgeable instructors.

I’m sure if you have kids it’s great. But as an adult man who was hoping to play basketball and swim, I’ve been pretty disappointed. The courts are always unavailable due to daycare and kids basketball camps. And there’s no lifeguards on duty so the pool has been closed very often. I’ve come and had to turn around and go home multiple times now and I’m starting to wonder what I’m paying for. If I just wanted treadmills and weights I would have joined Planet Fitness for 1/5 the price. Edit: As I now read the other reviews I see this has been a long time issue. And in a response the Y claims that Court Three has guaranteed Y use. However I was told literally just today that court three has been reserved by the school for the entire summer. Had I read the reviews I would have never joined.
