City-run community center in Lacey used by Lacey Parks, Culture & Recreation, which runs summer and teen day camps for local kids from late June through mid-August. Its Playground Pals program serves ages 6–12 with staff-supervised playground time plus arts and crafts, games, fitness, water activities and a summer reading program, running June 22 to August 14. The program is free, requires pre-registration for North Thurston Public Schools students, and includes lunch through the Summer Food Service Program. Registration and questions are handled by Lacey Parks weekdays 9am–5pm at 360-491-0857.
