La Petite Academy's Bloomington location runs Wondercamp, the chain's full-day summer program, for children ages 2 to 12, split across toddler, preschool and school-age groups. The program is built around themed 'Wonder Weeks' of activities, with food served, outdoor play daily, and field trips into the community for the school-age campers while younger campers get in-school visitors and events instead. Camp runs May through August and the schedule is set to the local school calendar so it lines up with district summer vacation dates. Daily hours are not stated on the location page.

Powered by GoogleMy two children love going here. They are learning so much, provided well rounded meals, and cared for compassionately. The best daycare in my opinion.
This daycare is such a great daycare! I was concerned and nervous because of the reviews, but went ahead and did it because everyone has different experiences & expectations. Not only are you able to watch your child on cameras 24/7, but they send updates anytime they do anything and pictures! My daughter gets excited to be there and that tells me enough. The workers are amazing!
I would not recommend that anyone send their kids here. It is not only an environment that is unclean, but this daycare center also has teachers that are negligent and abusive. I saw how a teacher slammed a child’s chair into the table hurting their chest, and pushing another child off of table out of frustration. Mind you these are all children 2 and under. I reported what I saw to the director and she said she would let the teacher know not to let it happen again… and yes she still has her job, and she is probably still harming more children. On top of that.. the director has no emotion or empathy. None whatsoever. Zero people skills. It is actually insane considering that this is a childcare facility. I meant to leave a review awhile ago giving people a warning, but have been busy and forgot to sit down and send awareness to those who may be considering this daycare for childcare services… my advice is DON’T DO IT! This is not good for children or families. If your children are enrolled here my advice would be to look at your child’s class cameras often and observe how they treat them. Some teachers ignore the children and let them fight and some teachers yell in the children’s faces and get physically abusive with the children. If you voice your concerns the teachers will get upset and bothered. They will tell you they are short staffed and overwhelmed as if that makes neglect and/or abuse acceptable.. I’ve heard it all. It is an all around negative environment and unsafe for children. Beware and steer clear!
I would call the daycare a baby prison camp that received credentials from illiterate authorities! Illinois State officials must reconsider the license provided to this place. I ignored Google reviews and enrolled in my baby girl. They called the first day a discovery day! But what my baby girl found there was her lifetime nightmare! Although the director seemed friendly and caring, the staff were different. The first day I dropped my daughter there, the other teacher didn’t welcome us! The lead teacher, Lucie, was friendly and caring! I think the norm is that for the first-day arrivals, a baby should receive more attention. However, my baby girl cried for 4 hours, and I saw on the camera sometimes Lucie hugged her and held her! The other lady in the room tried to ignore her entirely! Lunchtime at the daycare they reminded me of the prison camp I watched in the movies. The difference was that babies weren't in the line! I will write to all authorities in the state and in the US to see who is ready to trust the daycare and let their baby cry and beg for a hug for 4 hours! The daycare is messy, unorganized, and dirty, and all you see is a factory of hate handling a job for their bills! There is no love and care in this place as I saw how cruel they are to let a baby girl cry 4 hours in the corner! This daycare must be closed immediately, and I will do everything to see that moment. I hope you have the same nightmare you created for a baby girl whose father trusted you! You will pay for your ignorance and cruelty. Mother nature won't let you walk away with the mess you made, as my daughter couldn't sleep for a whole night! And remember that this happened in the US! Not in anywhere else! Do US officials have any idea what's going on around? Do they enroll their babies in a daycare like this? Or do they have fantastic facilities that taxpayers pay for? A baby mustn't cry for 4 hours without care in superpower America! Unless officials are deaf and blind, who provided the license!
This daycare is highly irresponsible unprofessional and disorganized they have lost 4 of our bottle tops given our infant the wrong pacifier several times making him sick and laid our infant in bleach ruining his clothes and didn’t bother to change him out of the bleached clothes putting him at risk of chemical burns. Furthermore, they have done nothing to reconcile any of this and Feel that is is ok to blurt out your account balance in front of other parents, and cut bottle tops without parental consent. Long story short, there is a reason that this facility has a 2.5 star rating and there are much better daycares for your kids.
