Kohala Sailing Foundation is a nonprofit (501c3) on Hawai'i Island that provides free, hands-on keiki sailing experiences for local youth ages 11-17, many sailing for the first time, out of Kawaihae Harbor in South Kohala. Free keiki sails run on the first Sunday of each month and are funded by the foundation's Pua Ka 'Ilima charter trips, building confidence, teamwork and ocean stewardship.
