KMAC Guides runs week-long youth rock climbing camps out of Estes Park, designed to move young climbers from indoor gyms onto real rock in Rocky Mountain National Park and the Estes Valley. Rather than a fixed schedule, camps are student-led and tailored to each group's skill and goals, drawing on over 2,000 climbs in the area, and are taught by AMGA-trained rock guides alongside climbing coaches. Campers stay at KMAC's semi-primitive private base camp bordering Rocky Mountain National Park, sleeping in tents with fresh meals provided and dietary restrictions accommodated. The 2026 slate runs three seven-day sessions: Progression Camp, Girls Climbing Camp and Bouldering Camp; scholarships are offered.
