Powered by GoogleExcellent community gym and family rec center. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Most members are easy to talk with and chilled. FYI the facility gets heavy use so keeping up with wear and tear is a constant challenge. Also, there are enough patrons who don't care about etiquette that cursing, litter, wet locker room floors, and weights not re-racked are commonplace. If you can see beyond those things the people, vibe and equipment are great to excellent!
I just wish the hot tub wasn't always out of service when we go. Everything else is pretty good.
The hot tub is disgusting today they were balled up napkins covered in blood lifeguard just put a glove on and throw them away hot tub needs to be sanitized and checked multiple times daily and more signs everywhere that says take a shower before getting in hot tub because it gets really foamy and bubbly when dirty
Parking lot unsafe after dark. Twice i was approached by man and a woman followed me to my truck, man came to me from behind me and she's from the side reaching my truck she banged on my driver side window and he trying to open my door. Those couples had and small blue car with broken window and hitched an open trailer with bunch of junk on it that had been parked in the back lower parking lot for a week. Twice a fight happened while I was there one inside and the other fight as I was getting out of my truck in parking lot both fights were violent. I joined the ymca only to use the steam room, jacuzzi, little pool take a shower and leave but 90% of time jacuzzi closed or steam room broke down beside shutdown of the pool for y splash. 😀 This has to be one of the most unprofessional YMCA Facilities in our area
Visiting from out of town and was pleasantly surprised by this workout space. Three free guest passes every year, which was nice. I wish their gym had more weight equipment and floor space for stretching and that sort of thing, but I also understand that's not really their focus. What they have in the gym is sufficient for most lifting workouts, with squat and bench press racks, but you may have trouble getting equipment if you go during busier hours.
