As other reviews suggest, this studio may be a great fit for many families. This is simply my personal takeaway, offered thoughtfully. My observation is specific to the Tiny Tiger class taught by Lauren. She presents as well-intentioned and sweet, often with a bright smile. What I noticed, however, in more moments than I was comfortable with, was patience that felt thin beneath the surface paired with rapid pacing and repeated verbal commands—“do this,” “move here,” “stop that” While subtle, the leadership style I observed prioritized immediate compliance of toddlers over understanding. In my child's first exposure to this style of discipline, I expected to see the foundational principles of Taekwondo modeled intentionally, patiently and in an age-appropriate way—where discipline, respect, and obedience of a child are earned results of a teacher through time, clear instruction, example, and relationship, not with out proper foundation. To summarize, It's my opinion that where immediate obedience is expected without first being intentionally taught, it risks quietly producing blind faith rather than thoughtful engagement. Lauren's approach may align with the values of some families. For ours, it does not. The distinction is important for us. I love this place for my children. If i could go back into time I would have signed my children up as little Tigers. I can see my children gaining confidence from learning new methods and testing. Earning their belts. All the children work so hard and they want to do well so bad. So grateful for Master Geeson and team that have made a major impact in little time. King Tiger is an amazing Taekwondo school. My nephew has been going there for the past 5 years! He loves it!! He has gotten more than just martial arts training here. He has become more confident in all areas of his life. He does classes weekly and also attends the summer camp. Attending summer camp he has been able to participate in lots of different activities and adventures. Master Geeson does an amazing job with working with each student to ensure they reach their full potential. Our family is thankful for King Tiger!
