Powered by GoogleWe are SO impressed with this program and Rosalind Cross. In fact, EJ is our third daughter that we've enrolled in Kindermusik at Village Arts! Even though I taught Kindermusik for a short time while I was pregnant with our second daughter, I'm amazed at all I personally learn and am able to use at home each week with my baby. From sign language, to learning "and stop" at the end of each song, Ros's unique ability to connect with parents and babies alike has turned Kindermusik into one of the best parts of our week! EJ is advancing musically, excitedly learning to dance, sing and play all of the different instruments in class. She is gaining social skills, learning through sign language to take turns with her peers and waving hello instead of grabbing their hair and grunting while attempting to wrestle them! She has improved in her verbal communication at home due to Ros's use of sign language, rhythmic chants, repetitious singing and animal sounds. She gets a physical workout when moving her body in different ways and learning to discern between different genres and tempos each week. During each new portion of the curriculum, we parents receive access to the weekly music in the Kindermusik app and a new book with animals and sounds from class time. This is one of my favorite parts for my daughter, as I can see her eyes light up when she hears familiar songs and sounds at home, then again the next time we come to class! She taps her fingers together, signing to sing them again and again: "Mo, mo!" While I watch EJ learn and grow, I am realizing how much I have learned about play and how much I have grown. I'm learning to once again, release my breath as I realize EJ is going to be a "Dow, dow" daughter, wanting down to do her own moves even when it's snuggle time and other friends are being held by their grown ups. This third time around with our third daughter, I'm remembering the reassurances that Ros started pouring into my daughter and me 10 years ago. I'm releasing my "Am I doing it right?" breath. Week after week, Ros kept reminding me that my children are learning whether dancing or not dancing, observing peers or observing Ms. Ros, sitting, standing or wiggling. My daughter is learning now because she is playing, and more importantly, she is playing with me.
Roz is a genius at engaging with the children, parents, grandparents, and nannies! She has a wealth of knowledge on brain development and nurturing our children. Kindermusik with Rosalind Cross is a gift to your family.
I enrolled my daughter in Kindermusik when she was just three months old, and the growth I’ve seen in her has been amazing. She has blossomed with confidence, developed her motor skills, and discovered so much joy in music and movement. Ms. Rosalind has a remarkable gift for connecting with every child, meeting them right where they are, and helping each one feel seen, supported, and engaged. Every class is filled with care, laughter, and learning, and I’m so grateful for the wonderful start this program has given my daughter.
Kindermusik has been such a great experience for my children. My oldest son has attended for several years now. Kindermusik gives my son a chance to learn and explore while we enjoy quality time together. Ms Rosalind is a wonderful teacher and does a great job of honoring how each child learns best. Cannot recommend Kindermusik enough!
I have enjoyed going to Kindermusik classes with my daughter since she was 8 months old and we absolutely love the classes and look forward to it every week. We are now in level two (she is 22 months old) and we really enjoy the skills she gets to learn weekly and the unique experience of combining music with movement and repetition every week. Ms. Rosalind is an incredible teacher and makes all the children feel so welcome and comfortable. This class is one of the highlights of my week and allows for special quality time with my little one! I cannot recommend it enough.
