I love the fact that all kids get to play, but really all kids shouldn’t play. Especially when they have a hard time losing. The anger from these kids and some parents is appalling and concerning!! It’s not the kids more the poor sportsmanship of parents, that then ooze onto their children. Just saying

Car pool if able, crowded multi-use parking lot. Very easy to find the indoor courts. Nice building and excellent court floor, the rims look stiff as a spectator. Maybe bring a seat pad for the metal bleachers.

I am leaving a review to address a matter of great concern regarding the conduct of a coach involved with Kidsports, which I believe needs immediate attention from our community. Over the past several months, I, along with several other parents, have raised serious concerns about the behavior of a coach that we find to be alarming and unacceptable. Despite our complaints being communicated to Kidsports multiple times, including to former Sports Manager Dan Trent and Associate Executive Director Nate Baldwin, it appears that these issues have not been adequately addressed. The complaints we have voiced include misogynistic behavior exhibited by the coach and instances where unauthorized individuals were allowed to act as coaches without proper background checks. It has become increasingly evident that the current measures in place for vetting coaches at Kidsports are insufficient, and that the safety and well-being of our children are being compromised. Recently, I learned that the same coach is being allowed to continue in a coaching capacity, not just for softball but also for volleyball. This decision is troubling, especially considering the feedback indicating that he is unfit to mentor young athletes and has even caused distress among the players. The response from management indicates a lack of urgency to rectify this problem, with phrases like "this is a chore" suggesting that the well-being of our children is not being prioritized. I want to emphasize the importance of transparency and accountability within our community sports programs. As parents, we seek assurance that our children are supervised by individuals who not only have the requisite skills but also the emotional intelligence and respect necessary to foster a supportive environment.I plan to escalate this matter further, as I believe it is crucial that other parents are made aware of these issues. I urge Kidsports to reevaluate its approach to coach vetting and to take our concerns seriously to ensure the safety and positive development of all participants. I hope to see meaningful action taken soon.

Nimas Wish Foundation is grateful and honored to accept a donation of soccer gear from Kids Sports. Thanks to Bev Smith-director and Tyrell Mann-Mathews-equipment manager, the foundation will be able to send this gear to kids in Gambia west Africa. Kids often play in bare feet and without any proper gear so this donation will make these kids so happy!
