Kids Soar

Kids Soar is a faith-based nonprofit in Roanoke, Virginia (founded 1989) whose mission is to break the cycle of poverty through education and service. Alongside year-round afterschool tutoring and literacy work, it runs free summer and winter camps for low-income children, with tutoring, a research-based literacy curriculum, enrichment activities and meals provided at no cost. It serves roughly 90 children.
