We sent my nephew here because my sister and I had an amazing experience. My nephew was severely bullied!! He was cornered and abused in the restroom by several boys, one boy was holding his head under the water in the pool, he was verbally assaulted. He complained and nothing was done! He wasn’t even allowed to call his mom. Every time he asked to call, he was discouraged!! They final put him in a different cabin. I emailed them and called, after hearing his experience and NO ONE reached out to me. My nephew was traumatized! This place has become a nightmare and I will never forgive these people for what they let my nephew go through. I am heartbroken beyond belief

The most amazing experience for an 8 year old. He luved it so much he's going back to the 2nd session. Staff was reall pleasant and stayed engaged with the kids. The director did everything he said he would do.

This camp is an absolute joke! Nothing like the way it was when I went there growing up! The administration sucks they gave my son a plum and he almost choked on the seed. They reached out to me asking me to pick him up thank god when I got there he was okay but in any case if it was a true life emergency and a kid is chocking shouldn’t they have well trained staff there? Not only that they told me to pick him up asap that they were scared if he stops breathing or something but your 10 min away from jfk hospital shouldn’t you be calling the ambulance that will get there faster then me because I live in a whole other town? Anyways as I stated I picked up my son he was perfectly fine but they made me take him home anyways and he couldn’t go back without a doctor note! I took him back two days later and when I got there they had kids in the pool in the rain there was a storm two days prior they had trees all over the floor and honestly everything just looked off! But I wanted to give my son the fun experience I had growing up so I left him around 9am and by 5pm long be hold the camp was already calling me with another issue to pick up my son. They definitely need a new administrator running that place because that lady is not well trained what so ever for any life situation. So to add to this when I picked him my son was starving I asked the counselor if he ate they said no he didn’t like the food so I asked him if they don’t have alternatives to give kids instead of making them starve and he said no. So basically if your child doesn’t eat what they have that day your child will not eat at all

Once a year, supporters of this wonderful camp are offered a chance to enjoy an incredible dinner. The chefs volunteer their time, and the proceeds support the camp, which provides marvelous services for underprivileged children. I never miss it.
