My kid reported having a headache to the Director who advised her to remain outside instead of coming out to check on her or slow her to come inside. I’m certain staff had to train on heat exhaustion and I feel like the staff failed my daughter. She’s also reported being talked down to by the director. I can’t honestly recommend this place to friends or family. The camp lacks oversight and leadership.

Very disappointed in this camp. There is no good management and you can tell that the kids aren’t happy. We will not be back. Praying for better management and maybe we will try again.

I know we all have different opinions.. but when my grand baby comes home and says she doesn’t want to return that’s not good. Kids should feel welcomed! Instead she was told line up do not talk on the way to the water park & if we aren’t good we won’t get Kona ice on Friday. At lunch she was told they will have silent lunch because they are too loud …. Hey news flash…… it’s a camp for children… it’s going to be a lot of kids that want to talk about their day! Wow I wish I could give this -5 stars.

As a current parent of a returning camper, these reviews honestly make me sad to read. Everyone's experience is their own, and I'm not here to dismiss or question anyone else's. I can only speak from our experience, and it has been overwhelmingly positive. My daughter absolutely loves this camp and looks forward to going every year. Could improvements be made? Of course. Every program has room to grow. Personally, I'd love to see more fresh fruit and additional lunch options. Beyond that, I'm not sure what I would change. Three days a week the kids get to enjoy the water park or theme park, they stay active, make friends, and spend time with other children in a safe environment. It's also worth noting that the director and at least one staff member are employed by the Baldwin County school system. We've always found them to be caring, responsive, and invested in the kids. What concerns me most is that a handful of negative reviews can have a significant impact on a business that provides an important service for working parents. Words are powerful. While everyone's feedback matters, our family's experience has been completely different from what is being described. My daughter is very sensitive, and if there were ongoing issues, she would absolutely let me know. I would also encourage parents with concerns to reach out directly to the camp leadership or KIDCAM corporate. In our experience, communication goes a long way. Again, I'm not discounting anyone else's experience. I simply wanted to share ours, because it has been a positive one.

Staff got in trouble for asking a question which i saw, and the director or leader was very rude.
