I am so glad to see that Kickapoo Kamp is still operating. I went there two summers over 60 years ago!!! Loved it - the horseback riding, canoeing, archery and more. Great friends too and excellent counselors.

My daughter went to Kickapoo as a kamper from 2018 to 2023. As a pawnee in 2024 - and now - as a counselor in 2025. As an only child, Kickapoo has been a place for her to be part of a beautiful sisterhood - with all the ups and downs and self discovery that sisterhood entails. It is stunningly beautiful. Fireflies and trees and water and wildflowers (during mother/daughter weekends). A nature escape in a busy and indoor world. The family is a warm crew - but also practical. Your daughter will not be coddled, but she will be nurtured, validated and loved. I am grateful my wise daughter knew that Kickapoo was the right kamp for her. Thank you to the Findlay/Hodges family and Myrtle for being part of the village that raised our amazing girl. We appreciate you more than you know!

Outstanding group of people running a clean, happy, and organized camp for girls. Ages from 7-17 are welcome to stay for a week, 2 weeks or 3 weeks. Kickapoo Kamp offers a fun environment that helps to build self-confidence, self-awareness and self-acceptance. We really noticed a positive attitude difference in our little camper when she returned from her 2 week residency camp. Super experience, definitely will return next summer!

This will be my fourth year at Kamp Kickapoo, and I'm already planning to go back next year! Honestly, this place beats out Disney World for the happiest place on Earth! The counselors and staff are incredibly nice, and the girls are amazing! There is so much to do, and overall, it is a wonderful place. Best summer camp ever!

Great place to camp, hike, and go cave exploring! The trails are all well maintained and easy to traverse. There are multiple scenic viewing areas with metal benches on the hilltops which are a nice spot to sit and cool down while on a hike. The cave tour is A MUST! The tour guides were great, highly educated on the geology of the cave and very entertaining along the way, with stories around every corner. The wildlife in the park are abundant and active. Over the three days we were there, we saw whitetail deer, wild hogs, armadillos, raccoons, and rabbits. I would also be aware of the many ticks in the area. Both me and my brother found ticks on our legs after we left, there are plenty of warning signs around for these so make sure to check yourself and any pets, if you are allowed to bring them. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend for all ages.
