We found Kauai Surf School during a beach walk and decided to return a few days later. My husband joined a morning group lesson, and I came along to support him. Even though I wasn’t planning to surf, the instructor kindly encouraged me to join — I honestly wish I had! The on-land demonstration was clear and easy to follow, and each student had enough time to practice with helpful tips. Because the tide was low, I could watch the group catching waves from the beach, and they all looked like they were having a great time. I also saw the instructor keeping an eye on nearby kids and offering help to make sure they were safe. The water was calm, the weather was beautiful, and it would have been a perfect day for a total beginner like me to try surfing for the first time. Even as an observer, I felt the warmth and professionalism here. My husband loved the lesson, and I’d definitely recommend this school.

We had a great surfing course for beginners. We did some dry exercises and then quickly headed into the sea. Our trainer was fantastic. We had a lot of fun. We also had our first successes. Great value for money, right on the beach, and excellent communication and service.
