10/10 recommend! My 11 year old daughter did their summer camp for a week and she had a blast!!! Learned so much, made new friends and can’t wait to do it again!

The sailing camps and afterschool clubs run by Kauai Sailing Association are an incredibly inspiring and empowering activity for keiki. My daughter has developed true confidence and skills thru her experiences and lessons with them. Top notch expertise and instruction is provided alongside healthy fun games and a kind & supportive social environment. I can guarantee she will look back on this as the best experiences of her whole childhood! We are forever grateful to all the coaches and organizers for providing this unique and special opportunity to our island! As a note: my kiddo (like many) started out uncertain, awkward and nervous the 1st week of camp, she lacked confidence, was shy and knew nothing about sailing when she started…. BUT she agreed to give it a fair go and by the end of 2nd week of camp she absolutely wholeheartedly LOVED it. She has since become passionate about the program, loves all the people involved, and has developed remarkable maritime and problem solving skills. So ya, its a new & very unique sport to try, but highly worth giving good effort!

Carl (owner), Astrid, Lexi and Zach took our family sailing. Our 3 teens with no prior experience. Spectacular harbor setting in Lihue, Kauai, great instruction and the kids were soon sailing on their own. Very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Came to Kauai to gain sea-time for my Captain's License and was able to take the ASA 101 course here as well. The class had myself and another; was perfect to get as much hands on experience at the helm. Our instructor Carl has a lifetime of sailing knowledge and we couldn't have asked for a better few days under his teaching. 10/10

I took the ASA 101 course here and had the most fun I’ve had in a long time! Sailing with Carl was so fun and exciting and there is a lot to learn in three days. It was the perfect balance of a good challenge with a super good time! He is a great instructor, and seemed to know when to tell me what to do, and when to challenge what I knew. We lucked out on weather so I got a taste of some flat water, light wind, as well as the more typical trade winds weather with big waves. It was awesome!
