They have danced in multiple classes over this time since pre-school to high school and have gained valuable experience and skills over these years which now assists them on their high school team and in coaching younger kids as well. We owe a lot of this to Amy Gunderson! She is an AMAZING Director and Coach with over twenty years experience and was also a dancer herself. She is extremely knowledgable, organized and does a fantastic job with the dancers and parents. Our family would never have stayed in a program that was not top notch. Yes, there is a cost for classes and uniforms but it is definitely fair for what is gained under such a competent and experienced Director/Coach and other coaching staff. It always baffles me when people complain about having to pay for having their child in a “SPORT”. This should not be a surprise as there is a cost for just about everything in life, especially when kids are involved. Just for Kix is a great program and dancers and parents get what they put into it at the end of the day. Skills, Self-Esteem, Confidence, Leadership, Dedication, Teamwork, Time Management, and lifelong friendships do not have a price tag. Our girls are extremely well rounded and their love for dance has them wanting to continue dancing on future college teams and coaching because they have grown up learning from the best and have been supported along the way. We encourage families to enroll their children in JFK if their children want to learn the sport of dance and gain some skills, as well as for families with kids who want to be on high school teams in the future. It has been such a wonderful experience watching our girls gain countless skills and really want to encourage others to give their families this experience as well. 🌻🌻🌻
