The Juneau Yacht Club donates classroom and teaching space to Juneau Youth Sailing (a separate nonprofit), which runs four-day summer sailing camps for youth ages 12-17 of all experience levels. Classes meet 8:30am-4:00pm and cost $300 (less for shortened weeks), with scholarships available on request.

There's a group of tables in the bar area that you can use for casual get togethers. The tables have charts under the glass so you can do some voyage planning while you are there.
