Jubilee Family Development Center, a Lynchburg nonprofit founded in 1999, runs a Summer Enrichment Camp for up to 80 local children ages 6 to 12. The camp is full-day, Monday through Friday, from early June through mid-August, focused on combating summer learning loss with high-quality academic programming alongside creative and life-skills activities. The center also offers after-school tutoring and youth mentoring programs.

JFC has been a tremendous help to our family. The staff there are great, grateful for the LU students who help there as well. There summer program is has several field trips and summer reading. During the after school program, they have plenty of activities and a program to help promote accountability for children to do well in school.
It’s a great place just look at my child after he went there mine is the one sticking their tongue out
Why won't anyone Here council these adults who throw trash down like this? They stand and follow me around almost daily because someone mentioned that I served the Navy 25 years ago, and even mention that SOMEONE IS GOING TO SHOOT and THIS IS WHAT THE GROUNDS LOOK LIKE... The adults might be depressed
