This is a beautiful, restful environment that you can reflect in on how your life is going with Christ Jesus. You can spend countless moments with God and you are free to be who God equipped you to be, created you to be and invested in you to be. The atmosphere at Joy of Living Camp is the most peaceful atmosphere I've been in. I pray that I get to return next year to serve under Jeff Egolf. He's the best thing that happened to Joy Of Living Camp besides the Hey Family. Miss you Tana💜🩵🩷. Tana, her husband ( I always forget his name), Jeff Egolf and Sue have very genuine hearts and I miss Tana because I didn't appreciate her before. Sorry Tana. I'll always love you and remember the impact you made on me.
I was invited to one of the Man Camp events at Joy of Living. The property was beautiful, the hospitality was better, but the friends and fellowship that was had was the ultimate gift that I received from this amazing family of brothers and sisters that work and volunteer their time at the camp. I drove 7 hours from Nashville and will certainly be coming back. If you’re on the fence about participating, DO IT! You won’t regret it. God Bless.
Really great camp at an affordable price! We have taken multiple middle school bible study group here for the last 2 years, and have had amazing retreats each time. The hosts are incredibly nice and accommodating, the campground is gorgeous, and there are plenty of fun activities. Hanging out in the Eagle’s Nest room each night is tons of fun, and there are many gorgeous hikes around the camp. Our groups have had a lot of fun at Joy of Living Camp, and plan on coming back again next year!
We have been here for several events. Most recently for a father son retreat. The facilities are really good with lots of opportunities. Everything is well maintained and clean. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and seem dedicated to making everyone’s experience great. One thing to be aware of is that the activities are very spread out over a large property with pretty steep hills. This makes for a great outdoor experience but would pose a challenge for folks with mobility issues.
