While I think JC Parks runs a great rec league, we wanted our kids to play with kids who had similar skill levels. It was also challenging as a coach because some kids had never played and others had years of experience. The experience has been fantastic since joining JCFC! The coaches have significantly improved their skills - our kid made his middle school team as a result. The 2008 Boys team won the Tennessee state league this year! But it’s the amazing families that make us love it so much. Despite the competition, the families and children are supportive of one another. It’s a natural way for parents to socialize and meet new friends, often sharing meals or jokes with fellow teammates’ families as we travel across the region surrounding Northeast Tennessee. The coaches know that “it’s about the we, not the me.” JCFC is a non-profit that even supports kids who need financial aid. They keep it fun, but still develop the players. Most of the coaches have more coaching credentials than necessary because they want to improve their own skills for the children’s sake. Ethics and respect combine with effort, attitude, and execution to create an environment where kids grow to become young adults with character. The value of that is priceless.

We selected JCFC based on the reputations of the travel clubs in the area and because of the opportunity for my youngest to receive additional goalkeeper training. JCFC exceeded our expectations.
