I don't know if this campground is still in use by the boys and girls clubs. I can say that I went here every summer, multiple times throughout each summer in the late 70s and early 80s and it was a wonderful experience. I returned in 2001 as a camp counselor volunteer for a week, while I served in the United States Navy in New Orleans, Louisiana. once again, it was an amazing experience, and I enjoyed it very much. I hope this place is still going because it is a wonderful place for kids to go and learn and have fun and get away from the city in the summertime. I was fortunate enough that many of the same staff members were working there when I returned as an adult , they found some old photo albums and showed me some pictures of myself when I was a kid. I hope every inner city and rural child in Mississippi gets a chance to experience this place.

I went there as a child and I loved it I want to look into buying it upgrade it to give kids some where fun loving home away from home just to show them a different way of living I have a 9 year old and she would love it
