The JoAnn Medlock Murphy Tennis Center at 1006 S. Palmer Avenue is Tyler Junior College's tennis facility and the home of the TJC summer tennis camps. Camps are taught by coaches from TJC's championship teams and top area coaches at no more than six students per instructor, and run as a Tennis Day Camp for ages 8-14 plus high-school camps in commuter and resident (overnight) formats. Resident campers check in Sunday afternoon at Claridge Hall and check out Friday at noon. All levels from beginner through advanced are accepted; registration is through TJC Continuing Education.
