My grandson had a soccer game there, and we had no referees to show up. The guy that called the game for us, I think he was over the park. He deserves a huge raise!!! He was fantastic, he was a very fair guy!!! Not only that, he had a great personality. My husband held a ball for him at the game he wanted to buy him food or drink. Of course, my husband said no, it was just the fact that this man offered. He was so nice. I wish I had gotten his name because I would definitely write it. He deserves to be mentioned. All of the people who work in the recreation department could learn a lot from this man. The fans could also, this is a child's game to have FUN and enjoy themselves. Some parents should remember this as well. These kids are not getting paid, nor does the recreation department hand out scholarships. Great sportsman's ship starts here, and they learn a lot from how parents act. So let your kids be kids and enjoy the games. Nobody wants a kid on their team with bad sportsmen ship in high school or college. This man was letting the kids be kids and teaching them to have fun.

My grandkids have been playing rec sports here for years and always have a great time! it is evident they are making improvements to create a great experience for the kids! The place is always kept clean considering the amount of people walking through those gates. The fields are mowed and in great shape. The county might consider extending the parking lot to accommodate the amount of traffic, and the restrooms are in dire need of updating. There are several sprinkler heads exposed and sticking up out of the ground that get stepped on a lot. It’s the little things that add up and would put you over the top. Help em out Jasper County! And if you could put in a playground for the kids not participating in sports, that would be the cherry on top!

Great place so kids can play soccer, baseball and football. We went to see our great grandson. Bring a chair. Plenty of restrooms.

The restrooms are kept clean, but the rec dept isn't run very efficiently. The kids enjoy their sports & parent participation is great. The park needs a facelift.

Somewhat unorganized and very little information flows to the ones stepping up and volunteering to coach. We do enjoy the facilities and the team jerseys are always good quality so at least you know that your fee is being put to good use for your child.
