Ithaca Children's Garden runs nature-based summer day camps at its Ithaca garden for children roughly ages 4-13, grouped as Acorns (youngest), Willows (6-10) and Maples (10-13). Campers do child-led, hands-on exploration, garden stewardship, building in the 'Anarchy Zone' and creative arts with natural materials, with a counselor-in-training track for teens. Need-based scholarships are available.

There are so many different areas to explore, from a sensory garden to a labyrinth, and kids can play and learn while they explore the beautiful landscape. The garden is also beautifully landscaped, with colorful flowers and interesting plants throughout. It’s a peaceful and relaxing place for parents as well, with plenty of benches and shaded areas to sit while your kids explore. The staff are incredibly friendly, and they offer a variety of educational programs and activities throughout the year. If you have young children, this is definitely a must-visit spot in Ithaca. The Ithaca Children’s Garden provides a fantastic opportunity for kids to learn, play, and experience nature up close. It’s a truly special place that both children and adults will love.
★★★Gustavo HerreraIt's sad to see how neglected a nice a beautiful place can be. It's still nice see the plants, the sandbox, the big turtle, etc. But the general appearance is of is abandoned. The worst part are is what was supposed to be w playground with slides: the worst shape ever.

The garden is nice to look at and all of the little things in and around it are entertaining. Children are often playing games or just walking through with their parents.
