ISP Event Center is an indoor sports facility at 16 West Hanover Avenue in Randolph, NJ, established in 2001, with two indoor turf fields recently rebuilt with a woven turf system. It hosts leagues, clinics, tournaments, practices and rentals for field-based sports, and alongside that year-round programming it runs camp programs for children during school breaks and over the summer. My son had a soccer tournament at this location. They need more parking! This indoor soccer facility is better then what I have been to so far. It has lots of bathroom. Four different fields, it has seating at the top and on the sides.
Embarrassing parking situation. Never seen a tournament only give 5 parking passes out per team. They tell u to risk parking at private business. Bathrooms smell like mildew
This is long!! Lets just start with BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! When you come to this place, be ready to become frustrated as HELL, especially for a tournament of any sorts. First of all, your team only gets 5 parking spots. For those that don't make the parking cut, are then told by what looks like some type of Valet Service at the entrance that you must park outside of the facility, BUT WHERE!!!! They told me to park next door at the synagogue which is up the street with no sidewalks on a county road with winding roads. Its like a death wish if u wanted to try it, thats how dangerous it is especially with snow banks on each side of the road. I later come to find out find out that they were going to start towing cars from the synagogue so I ran fast as hell up this grade on this county road with cars flying by about to sideswipe me and got to my car in time. Thank GOD. I then go back to the main sports facility to see if they can have some sort of grace and allow me to park after explaining what just happened to me, and again they tell me, u can park at the ACME,,, BUT WHERE!!!!!! Its half a mile away and then no sidewalks on more county roads. There should at least be some type of contingency plan with maybe even a shuttle service, especially with the amount of money they must be generating. Oooooooo don't park on a side street or u may receive a nice care package,,,,,A TICKET from the PD....just like what happened to numerous cars that dared park directly across the street. ISP please get yourselves together better than this long rant that I have to do.
Worst place for a tournament, no place to warm up, no place to put your stuff and when you do other teams are in there stealing your soccer balls and being rude as though you’re in the wrong when your stuff was there first. No one from the facility is guiding any of the people, the hallways are too packed to even move god forbid if there was ever an emergency this place is a trap. The only positive is the amount of bathrooms they have.
