Island Bay Yacht Club's Junior Sailing Camp teaches sailing on Lake Springfield, with roughly 70% of each day spent on the water in club-provided boats under US Sailing-trained staff. It is a full-day camp running three two-week sessions plus a two-week Race Camp, meeting four days a week because the club is closed Mondays; registration is online through Clubspot. Camp is open to kids ages 8 through 15, beginner through advanced, though first-time campers under 10 must take a half-day session first.
