I have been on several trail rides and they all have been a 5 star experience! All the horses are well trained and the staff are very attentive and friendly. I will continue to come back and recommend this place to all my friends and family

Lovely camp! Hard working and friendly/helpful/kind staff. Very impressed by the quality of the horses. Surprised to learn the horse my young daughter rode was 27. The horse was well fed, had good muscle, shiny coat and moved soundly…a soul worth her weight in gold. My daughter wanted to bring her home when she heard she was retiring. They obviously care well for their critters :)

Tee it up for the troops donated $10,000 if I remember correctly to have 1 room at the miracle lodge available for veterans to stay at no charge. I’ve gone to Iron Wood since the early 90s. Over 30 years I’ve loved spending what time I can there. Before this changing of the management happened, the room could be booked and I’d get put in a different room. A year ago I called and asked about staying a night in that room (my picture is in a couple of the rooms from bet events there) and was told that is no longer available. I forgot called a year ago and called again and was told the same thing. It’s not about the cost it’s about what that room was dedicated for. The environment, the staff, it’s all changed. One of the most peaceful places in MN I sadly will not be returning to. Should have gave the donated $$$ back to Tee it Up when you stopped allowing vets to stay. This may be the second review I’ve done in my life. This really disappointed me for everyone that could find healing there and now it’s cut off and still being plastered how we support our veterans. That maybe be true but it was genuine when bob ran the show. I know this is the management pulling this, not Bob. It’s no secret, nobody wants voice it. Between a rock and a hard place. It’s really sad.

I enjoy snow tubing here basically every winter. A small or big group would obliterate these hills as you can never get enough of this adventure of easy hills or hard hills. I especially like to try the bumps or jumps to get air. If you can get a big group to do a chain effect, that's even better!
