★Matt HoranyPut my kid in basketball at this place after years of playing at the Y. He was stuck on a team with some coach who just played his own kid the whole time. Refs were so incompetent that the other team’s coach forfeited the game early because it was handled so badly. The opposing team’s parents were extremely upset. I ended up pulling my kid off the team along with another parent. Sent multiple emails to the optimist club organization to complain because of the way they treated my kid who had been working extremely hard only to be benched by some coach who didn’t know what he was doing. They never responded to multiple emails. Not a single response. Avoid this place like the plague and use the YMCA. They actually HAVE rules they follow for youth sports.
