INNOVATE Albion is a nonprofit STEM and robotics teaching centre in downtown Albion that runs hands-on summer camps, now in their sixth year. Classes include preparation for joining a FIRST Robotics team plus newer offerings such as Game Design with Scratch, JavaScript Programming, Drone Adventures and 3D Video Game Design. Eligibility is set by the grade a student will enter in the coming autumn, and scholarships are available for families receiving SNAP or WIC benefits or facing other financial hardship. The centre was founded in collaboration with Caster Concepts and Conceptual Innovations and also runs after-school programs and a Girls Who Code club.
