Indian Creek Baptist Camp is a Christian overnight camp on about 40 acres of rolling hills near Bedford, owned and operated by the American Baptist Churches of Indiana and Kentucky on land first donated in 1952. Summer sessions run through June and July for campers from kindergarten through college age, including four week-long Teen Camps in June, a Junior Camp and a Combo Camp in July, each built around outdoor activities, worship, encouraging messages and small-group time. The camp is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association and also hosts all-age retreats and events year-round; a multi-phase capital plan is adding new facilities and renovated cabins. Registration opens online each January.

This place is my home away from home. Like many, it’s my happy place where I experience such a rare sense of true peace. But enough about me—Indian Creek is a rare breed. They truly and unashamedly live and breathe the Gospel. Going to ICBC means you get to experience God and grow your faith like never before. I’ve been a camper here and I’ve been on staff here and having seen it all, I can say for certain that their mission touches everything they say and do—their genuine joy and purpose is to further the Kingdom. The friends I’ve made over a decade ago as a camper here are still my closest friends today—my kids call them their aunties. Even more important, the things I learned about Jesus over a decade ago as a camper here changed my life. If you sign a camper up to go to Indian Creek you know they’ll have a blast. But, more than that, you know they’ll spend their week being introduced to and taught about their Lord and Savior in ways that last. As soon as my own babies are old enough to go, they’re getting signed up every summer. No matter where we are (we’re a military family), we’ll be coming back to Indiana to be here.

My girls absolutely love this place! They will be going here every summer for their entire childhood, because not only do they love going! But the folks there individually love them going! Too the extent, they got my girls a ride there and we live two hours away because my car was having troubles the morning they were supposed to be there! God bless these AMAZING PEOPLE AND THIS AMAZING PROGRAM

We've had 4 generations of involvement at Indian Creek. My grandparents helped build some cabins. My dad and aunt have been campers and counselors. My dad was a camper back when the moon landing happened, and they brought in a TV so they could watch it. Myself, my siblings, and my cousins have all been campers and counselors. And now, all of the next generation that lives close enough attends as campers. We have even had family work days here over the past few years in memory of our grandparents. Great camp and lots of great memories!

Both my daughters went to this camp. I’ve also served as a cabin leader and camp counselor at this camp over the years. It is always a consistently good experience for the kids and the volunteers. This camp has meant a lot to my family and still does. I highly recommend this camp for all ages. You can rest assured your kids are safe and having a good time.

Love this camp. My camper is a special needs individual who comes here every year for church camp and she LOVES it and now I know why ! It's a beautiful campground filled with staff that love her well. Upon arrival many told her they had missed her and upon departure she got many hugs and even some "love you" s. She hasn't stopped talking about all the fun she had. I'm considering sending my daughter here next year based on my clients experience and what I have now seen for myself. They love them well !
